Gamma Ray's guitarist and vocalist Kai Hansen has revealed that the German metallers are nearing completion of their upcoming live DVD, recorded during the band's May 6, 2006 show at in Montreal, Canada. The effort's working title is "Hell Yeah! The Awesome Foursome (And the Finnish Keyboarder Who Didn't Want to Wear His Donald Duck Costume) Live in Montreal"...

Besides, Gamma Ray have already demoed 14 songs for their next studio album, "Land of the Free, Part II", which will be be a conceptual continuation of the group's 1995 classic "Land of the Free".

After the CD and DVD see the light of day, the quartet shall go on tour. There are negotiations about a joint venture with Helloween, but nothing's confirmed... yet.
