The supergroup Camp Freddy have resumed work on their long-awaited debut album with producer Mike Clink. There's still no information about a tentative release date for the CD of the Los Angeles-based quartet featuring guitarists Dave Navarro (The Panic Channel, ex-Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Billy Morrison (Circus Diablo, ex-The Cult), drummer Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N' Roses, The Cult) and vocalist Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, ex-Stone Temple Pilots).

Mentioning Billy Morrison, his other band, Circus Diablo, also plans to issue its first studio effort sometime in the summer. The group's line-up is completed by former The Almighty frontman Ricky Warwick on guitar, ex-Fuel and current Riders on the Storm vocalist Brett Scallions on bass, and drummer Jeremy Colson.
