Awards shows aren't exactly know for their representation of rock, but this year's Academy Awards won a few points when the stars from Wayne's World reunited onstage.

Actors Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey reprised their roles as our favorite metal-loving duo - Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar - to present Bohemian Rhapsody in the Best Picture category.

Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic focused on the life of late QUEEN singer Freddie Mercury, is nominated for five Academy Awards, including the night's top award - Best Picture. Rami Malek also received his first  Oscar nomination for his performance as Mercury in Best Actor in a Leading Role category, which he won.

The film also won the awards for the three other categories it was nominated in that have been announced - Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing.

QUEEN also opened up the show with a performance of 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are The Champions'.
