Boston's hit rockers from the late 80's and early 90's, Extreme, shall do a one-night reunion show at a benefit concert in New York in honour of their late manager Steven Hoffman (also worked with a.o. Rush and Van Halen), who died of lung cancer in 2003.

Extreme shall go on stage in their original line-up featuring vocalist Gary Cherone, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, bass player Patrick Badger and drummer Paul Geary.

The event will take place on May 18 at the 450-capacity Canal Room in West Broadway. Other bands who shall perfom during the evening are Evolution (a Journey tribute band), Valentine and All-Star Rock Jam (featuring Black label Society bassist John DeServio).
