H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo has revealed that the group's new album, tentatively titled "Venus Doom", shall be "a lot heavier than anything we've done before".

The follow-up to "Dark Light" (2005) was recorded in Finland's capital Helsinki with producer Tim Palmer (Ozzy Osbourne, Dredg), and is scheduled for release on July 10. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Kiss of Dawn", "Love in Cold Blood", "Passion's Killing Floor" and "Dead Lovers Lane".
