Finland's monster metal finest Lordi have begun filming a horror movie, set for release before Christmas, vocalist Mr. Lordi (real name - Tomi Putaansuu) has told Reuters.

After completing work on the film, Lordi plan to start composing new songs with the aim of producing a new album by late 2008.
