British heavy metal veterans Saxon shall release their new single, "If I Was You", on April 16 via SPV Records. All proceeds from the MCD, which is meant to be a statement against guns, will be split equally between The Non-Violence Foundation and The Gun Control Network.

"If I Was You" comes off Saxon's current studio album, "The Inner Sanctum", which was released on March 5. An interview with vocalist Biff Byford about it can be found HERE.
