New York's indie/post-punk veterans Sonic Youth shall reissue their landmark 1988 album "Daydream Nation" as a double CD on June 12.

The first disc contains the original release, which has been remastered under the band's supervision, while the second CD features 15 live performances from their Daydream Nation Tour, plus studio bonus tracks, a.o. cover versions of The Beatles' "Within You Without You" and Neil Young's "Computer Age".

During the summer, Sonic Youth will perform "Daydream Nation" in its entirety at several shows throughout Europe and the USA.
