The Pixies frontman Frank Black has two new albums on the way. The first one, entitled "Bluefinger", is inspired by the paintings of the Dutch artist Herman Brood. It shall appear in September via the label Cooking Vinyl under the name Black Francis - a moniker the singer used during his early days with The Pixies.

Black is also set to release a greatest hits album on June 12, entitled "Best of Frank Black 93 - 03", covering the musician's solo career during this 10-year period.
