GUNS N' ROSES Start World Tour with a Foul

Guns N' Roses have cancelled the opening dates of their world tour, which was supposed to start in Japan. The decision had to be made after bass player Tommy Stinson (on the photo; ex-The Replacements) fell down some stairs, causing a problem with one of his hands...

Here's what the musician himself has written on the band's official homepage: "I feel so bad right now. I accidentally fell down a flight of stairs. I put my hand down to break my fall and heard a loud "pop". The next morning my hand looked like a balloon. We had our last rehearsal a few days ago and shipped the gear to Japan and then this happened. I feel horrible."

It is not known yet when (and whether) the dates will be rescheduled. The same unclearness surrounds Guns N' Roses' notorious upcoming album "Chinese Democracy"...
