Serbian Activists Oppose THE ROLLING STONES Gig
19 April 2007ORCA, Serbia's largest animal rights protection society, are opposing plans to hold The Rolling Stones concert at the city's Hippodrome on July 14, saying the loud noise and vibrations will cause immense distress to the 300 horses housed there. The protesters are lobbying to have the show moved to another venue, as the other option - moving the horses to another location - would also cause distress to the animals...
If ORCA fails to convince organisers to move the concert, they plan to contact The Rolling Stones themselves.
