California's rockstars Avenged Sevenfold are putting the finishing touches to their fourth full-length studio album. The follow-up to "City of Evil" (2005) is scheduled for release on Halloween, October 31, via Warner Bros.

Meanwhile, on July 17, the quintet shall put out a DVD. Entitled "All Excess", it is expected to feature a cover version of Pantera's "Walk", live clips of the tracks "Beast and the Harlot", "Trashed and Scattered", "Seize the Day" and "Bat Country", four promo videos and a documentary.
