Download Festival 2007 director Stuart Galbraith has announced plans to move the 3-day rock event back a week next year. In other words, Download 2008 shall take place from June 13 to June 15, 2008.

Tickets for the fest are due to go on sale this Friday, June 15, at 9 a.m. GMT sharp at this year's prices.

Regarding next year's highlights, Mr. Galbraith revealed he'd "love AC/DC, Foo Fighters and Muse to headline the festival in 2008."
