Sweden's doom metal godfathers Candlemass marked are about to mark a mighty comback next Friday, June 22. That's when their brand-new studio offering, “King of the Grey Islands” (view cover in the left) is going to be officially released via Nuclear Blast.

What's the best news here is that now, a week prior to the CD's birth, the effort was chosen Album of the Month by five of Europe's most important music magazines, namely Norway's "Scream", the German and French editions of "Rock Hard", and the German and Greek issues of "Metal Hammer".
