The Californian psychedelic prog/jazz/punk/etc. rockers The Mars Volta are currently recording their new, fourth full-length studio album, entitled "The Bedlam in Goliath".

The follow-up to "Amputechture" (2006) is being produced by lead guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and is scheduled for an autumn release via Gold Standard Laboratories/Universal Music Group.
