Germany's heavy metal guitar hero Axel Rudi Pell shall release his new studio album, entitled "Diamonds Unlocked" (see front cover in the left), on September 28 via SPV.

The word goes about a CD full of cover versions by world famous hits by artists like The Who, U2, Kiss and The Mission, a.o., recorded in a line-up featuring Axel on guitars plus vocalist Johnny Gioeli, keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak (ex-Steeler) and drummer Mike Terrana (ex-Rage, Yngwie J. Malmsteen).
