Nevermore frontman Warrel Dane has revealed he's written eight songs for his upcoming debut solo album, tentatively due in early 2008. According to the singer, "the recording will start pretty soon".

As Warrel himself stated less than a year ago in an interview for Tangra Mega Rock, his solo effort is being created together with former Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers and drummer Dave Budbill (Zerocreep, ex-Sanctuary). Also appearing as songwriters and musicians on some of the songs shall be guitarists Matt Wicklund (ex-Himsa) and Jeff Loomis of Nevermore.
