The Welsh alternative rock sextet Lostprophets has started recording its new, as yet untitled album. The follow-up to "Liberation Transmission" (2006) shall be produced by John Feldman, and is scheduled for an early 2008 release.

Meanwhile, former Lostprophets drummer Mike Chiplin has recorded half a dozen of tracks with his current band, The Unsung. You can check out two of them at myspace.com/theunsunguk.
