The announcement was made by frontman Josh Homme during a press conference held at French rock festival Hellfest. During the conference, he said he’d been trying to book a show at the Catacombs for 18 years and now, having finally succeeded, QUEENS OF THE STONE  will be the first band to ever perform there. The performance is set to be recorded live.

 

An exact date for the performance has not been revealed. 

 

The historic Catacombs has been open for public visitation since the 19th century and hold the remains of around 6million people. They remain a popular tourist attraction in Paris..
