QOTSA Cancel More Tour Dates - Jack White to Fill In
30 July 2024Earlier this month, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE canceled a handful of European dates as frontman Josh Homme was rushed to the United States for emergency surgery. Now, the band has called off even more European bookings, so that Homme can remain under medical care.
The announcement came via an Instagram post on Friday, explaining that “it is under doctors’ orders that Josh Homme remain in their care in the United States,” with a list of the European festivals the band has to pull out of. “The Homme family and QOTSA are so grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and kind understanding during this time,” the post concludes.
In lieu of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, Jack White has been tapped to fill their slots at several upcoming festivals, including Øya Festival in Norway, Way Out West in Sweden, and Syd For Solen in Denmark. The dates will follow the surprise vinyl release of White’s latest album earlier this month.
