Sweden's extreme metallers In Flames have spread the following news:

"We are about to start pre-production for our new album, which will be released next year at some point, hopefully around spring time. It will be recorded in IF Studios in Gothenburg.

"You can follow the entire recording step by step by checking myspace.com/inflames, where a video diary will be shown. A new episode will be posted each Monday. The first episode will be up on September 10, so make sure to check in for that."
