THE WHO Issue Two DVDs
31 August 2007Britain's rock veterans The Who have announced they'll release two DVDs on November 6.
The first, "Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who", chronicles the band's history through interviews with Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey, as well as rare concert footage. It will premiere on September 12 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The second disc, "Amazing Journey: Six Quick Ones", is divided into six segments, four of which detail the musical abilities of The Who's members, the fifth examines the Mod culture that inspired the band's visuals, and the sixth is an account of the recordings of "Real Good Looking Boy" in 2003 - The Who's first studio album in more than 20 years.
The DVDs also include bonus material, such as footage from the group's 2000 concert at the Royal Albert Hall with Eddie Vedder and Bryan Adams, a dinner with Keith Moon and the tragic death of 11 fans at a 1979 concert in Cincinnati, Ohio.
