Jimmy Page Fights Piracy
31 August 2007The 56-year-old Robert Langley who sold pirate copies of Led Zeppelin albums was sent to jail for 20 months yesterday, after guitarist Jimmy Page had given evidence against him.
The guy was arrested in 2005 after selling pirated Led Zeppelin material at a CD fair in Glasgow. During the case, Page was called to give evidence against him, causing Langley to change his plea to guilty.
Except for his prison sentence, Langley faces a hearing in which the Crown will attempt to strip him of GBP 250,000-worth of assets.
