Germany's young extreme "modern metal" machine Maroon (nothing to do with Maroon 5!) has finished work on its new album. Entitled "The Cold Heart of the Sun" (view cover in the left), the follow-up to last year's "When Worlds Collide" is due on October 19 via Century Media.

To promote the release, Maroon will join the Modern Metal Tour 2007 throughout Western Europe along As I Lay Dying,В Darkest HourВ and Himsa.
