GREEN RIVER Revive!
04 October 2007Two decades after breaking up, Seattle's grunge godfathers Green River have announced they'll reform next summer for a special show to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the cult local label Sub Pop Records.
The band that released three EPs and one album, "Rehab Doll" (1988), consisted of guitarist Jeff Ament and bass player Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, drummer Alex Vincent, and vocalist Mark Arm and guitarist Steve Turner of Mudhoney, the latter being replaced by Bruce Fairweather, who went on to play in Mother Love Bone.
At the same time Brad, the project featuring Stone Gossard, is planning a new album.
