Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia has parted ways with their singer Monika Pedersen,pointed as reason for leavingВ  the painfully familiar "too many musical differences."

According to Monika "this is not the right band" for her.В  She said she had "lots of good experiences" andВ  "only wish the best for the band in the future."

The band is forced to turn down a tour with Therion later this year in order to find a new singer and to be able make a comeback in 2008.
