Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the vocalist of the psycho prog outfit The Mars Volta says that the band's new album is influenced by guitarist OmarВ Rodriguez-Lopez'sВ the recent trip to Jerusalem.

Rodriguez-LopezВ even brought him a present-an original device for spirit invocation, known as Oija board in The States, which soon attracted attention from nearly everbody in the band.

The follow-up to last year's "Amputechture" is scheduled to be released on Jan.28 and is entitled "The Bedlam In Goliath".
