Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) and Tobias Sammet (Edguy, Avantasia) have recorded a cover version of Alice Cooper's 1973 track "Elected". The song will be featured on a four-track Ayreon EP, scheduled for release in Europe on April 28. The three other tunes featured on it are an acoustic live radio session of "E=mc2", "Ride the Comet" from the album "01011001", and a piano version of "Day Six: Childhood".
