Apple Blocks BEATLES Bootleg
24 March 2008A legal attempt has been made to block the release of early recordings by The Beatles, entitled "Jammin' with The Beatles and Friends, Star Club, Hamburg, 1962". The Beatles company Apple Corps claims the 8 tracks, a.o. "Lovesick Blues" performed by Paul McCartney and "Ask Me Why" sung by McCartney and Lennon, are a bootleg recording of poor sound quality, while the Miami firm trying to sell the music, Fuego Entertainment, insists the recordings were legal.
Whatever the truth is, Fuego is facing a claim for $15 million in damages from Apple...
