Shirley Manson is set to pursue a full-time acting career, having landed a regular role on a US TV series. Garbage's singer will appear in a recurring role on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles", which airs on Fox. She'll play Catherine Weaver, the CEO of Cyberdyne.

Besides, Manson’s debut solo album is due to be released this year. Shirley has worked with Beck, The White Stripes' Jack White, Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan and The Blue Nile’s Paul Buchanan on some of the tracks.
