Glastonbury Snubbed Gilmour
02 June 2008Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has apparently snubbed David Gilmour's offer to play at this year's festival. According to The Sun, Pink Floyd's frontman personally contacted Eavis offering to perform the iconic album "The Dark Side of the Moon" at the event, but was told he wouldn't be needed due to the fact that Glastonbury aims at "appealing to a younger generation, and Dave wouldn't"...
