Mick Jagger vs. BBC Films
03 June 2008Mick Jagger has threatened to sue BBC Films, who are behind the forthcoming biopic "The Edge of Love", dedicated to the life of Dylan Thomas (1914-1953). The Rolling Stones' vocalist owns the rights to a lot of the Welsh poet's works, and is planning a biopic about the man himself through his production company, Jagged Films.
As a result, Jagger forced the producers of "The Edge of Love", which will star Keira Knightly and Sienna Miller, to edit out scenes featuring material from the poetry collection "Map of Love".
