Fish is being forced to take a six-month break from touring because of severe throat problems. The singer has been suffering for a while, and is currently undergoing tests.
He has stated in an open letter to fans: "I was in hospital yesterday and had an examination under general anaesthetic which involved taking a biopsy from one of my vocal chords. I now wait on the results..."
