Bono has begun writing a regular Op-Ed column for the New York Times this weekend.

The U2 frontman's first columnВ has appeared onВ Sunday (January 11), andВ is also accompanied by a podcast.

The column will cover a broad range of topics, according to the New York Times.

Bono said it was 'an honour' to be writing for the renowned publication, adding that he's 'never been great with the full stops or commas.'

Meanwhile, U2 are preparing to release their twelfth studio album 'No Line On The Horizon' in March, as previously reported
