Billy Gould, Mike Patton and the other wonderful madmen from Frisco getting back together again is, without doubt, something millions around the globe would give their right arm to see.

For now the band has been resurrected only through the cover version of the classic ‘Midlife Crisis’ recorded recently by Disturbed for the  ‘Covered, A Revolution In Sound’ compilation, due out at the end of February on Warner Bros. Records.

Currently riding on a crest of popularity DISTURBED have proved to be rather partial to cover versions - remember their take on Genesis' ‘Land Of Confusion’, preceded earlier by a stab at Tears For Fears' ‘Shout’.

The ‘Covered...’ compilation also features MASTODON doing ZZ Top's ‘Just Got Paid’, while THE USED try their hand at covering the Talking Heads classic ‘Burning Down The House’. Other bands featured are AGAINST ME, THE FLAMING LIPS and TAKING BACK SUNDAY.

As for a FAITH NO MORE reunion, well that's not entirely out of the question. God knows the rumours on the Internet have been abundant.

!!! The truth of the matter is that a major booking agency is currently weighing up offers from various promoters around the globe in order to make a concrete offer to the band for possible tours of Europe and the USA. A very reliable source has informed us that the aformentioned agency has even contacted some Bulgarian promoters.

At this moment in time there is no official FAITH NO MORE reunion and according to bass player Billy Gould: ‘If we were to reunite, it would never be just for the paycheck.'

'I am aware that there's plenty of talk about possible FNM gigs around the world, but it's too early to say anything definite.'

'We all met up recently and the vibe was much more positive than I expected, but that's all. If the magic isn't there, we won't be doing anything!’

Billy then went off to his house in Costa Rica. The following day (08.01.2009) the country was shaken by an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale.

So, keep your fingers crossed and your toes too.
