David Bowie will not be relaunching Ziggy Stardust at this year’s Coachella festival.

First came reports that Bowie was recording in Berlin again and today, tabloid newspaper reports were suggesting that Bowie would resurrect Ziggy Stardust for the first time since the character’s abrupt retirement at the Hammersmith Odeon on 3rd July, 1973.

Bowie spokesperson has announced though that Bowie isn’t even scheduled to play this festival.
