Blink 182 Confirms Reunion
10 February 2009No more trying to read between the lines from Grammy appearances or sniff out the legitimacy of weird postings on message boards: Blink 182 officially reunited.
The act released a statement to clear up all rumors about its future together. In short, the reunion is on, and the band is in the studio working on a follow-up to 2003's Blink 182 (Geffen). No street date for the album has been revealed.
"This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us," the band's statement read.
"To put it simply, We're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed.
