Organization Problems With AC/DC Concert
17 February 2009Although it has been announced that AC/DC will perform on May 26 at the Partizan Stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, the production company Komuna, which is organizing the concert in collaboration with firms from Germany, Romania and Bulgaria, still hasn't signed the contract officially renting the stadium for the event, according to Blic Online.
"The contract with Komuna hasn't been signed yet. Until it happens, I wouldn't advertise the Partizan stadium as a venue," says Darko Grubor, the secretary general of the FC Partizan.
On the other hand, Maksa Catovic from Komuna denies having any problems. "The contract is not officially signed, but we have received a confirmation from the FC Partizan that the date is conformed. We expect to sign the contract very soon," Catovic says.
Last year in a similar case, the Bulgarian Telegraph daily, reported that Balkan entertainment company - the promoter of the METALLICA show in Sofia didn't have an officially signed contact with the National Staduim. But the concert turned to be a massive success afterwards.
Max Sacatovich has a very good reputation being one of the top producers in ex Yougoslavia's movie industry. He produced or co produced several blockbusters, including the famous 'Underground' and 'Black Cat, White Cat' among others.В В
