ROSE TATOO Man Diagnosed With Cancer
10 April 2009We areВ saddened to hear that Rose Tattoo guitarist and founding member Mick Cocks has been diagnosed with cancer.
The management of Australian rockers, Rose Tattoo have confirmed that Mick Cocks has been diagnosed with cancer of the liver.
Steve White, the group’s manager, said: “Mick has asked that I release this information to avoid the rumour mill taking control of the information. The situation is that Mick has been diagnosed with liver cancer and is now under the advice of the very best doctors in Sydney. Treatment plans are underway and Mick is in good spirits and ready for a fight.”
Cocks is the second member of the band to contract the disease – guitarist Pete Wells passed away in March 2006 after losing his long battle with prostate cancer.
