Boy George released from jail after serving four months
12 May 2009Culture Club singer Boy George has been released from jail after serving four months of an 18-month sentence for false imprisonment.
The frontman, real name George O'Dowd, was given the sentence in January after being found guilty of detaining male escort Audun Carlsen in his London flat.
He was released early from Suffolk's Edmunds Hill Prison for good behaviour today (May 11), reports the Daily Mirror.
O'Dowd is required to wear and ankle tag an obey a curfew for the next 14 months.
