SLIPKNOT's CHRIS FEHN Forced To Miss Last Two Shows Of Band's European Tour
15 July 2009SLIPKNOT percussionist Chris Fehn was forced to miss the last two shows of the band's most recent European tour — July 10 in Madrid, Spain and July 11 in Barcelona, Spain — due to a "tragic death in his family."
SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "The Clown" Crahan missed a couple of the band's shows in May after taking several days off following the death of his mother.
SLIPKNOT is slated to reissue its 1999 self-titled major label debut on September 9 to celebrate the record's 10th anniversary and the band's decade as recording artists. No other details on the release, including whether it will include any bonus or previously unavailable content, have been announced yet.
The latest single from 'All Hope Is Gone' is called 'Sulfur'. The album has sold 798 000 copies since coming out 11 months ago.
The band will begin a short North American run of dates on August 22 in Seattle.
