The former Stone Roses man was arrested on suspicion of assault yesterday (November 2) after his neighbours alerted the police of a disturbance at the couple's west London home.

"A 46-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken to a police station." Scotland Yard confirmed to The Mirror newspaper.

When police investigated the disturbance Brown's wife Fabiola Quiroz told officers that he had attacked her.

Although taken into custody, Brown was later freed on bail until next month.
