вЂPerverted’ Rammstein Album Banned In Germany
10 November 2009Rammstein’s new album, 'Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da', might be selling like crazy around the globe, but it’s not going down to well in their native Germany. At least with the authorities.
As of November 11, it is being banned from public display, by the Federal Office For The Display Of Media Harmful To Children, which is a legitimate arm of the German government. Apparently, they object to the sad-masochism inherent in the song 'Ich Teu Dir Weh', and also the cover, which shows guitarist Richard Kruspe, with a naked, masked girl over his knees. The office also doesn’t like the single Pussy, which they reckon will lead to an increase in the number of AIDS cases, because it encourages unprotected sex.
