What do SAVAGE GARDEN, RAZORLIGHT and MAROON 5 have in common? Not much, none of them are the worst band in the world.

Instead, that distinction belongs to NICKELBACK, according to readers of the U.K.'s 'Word Magazine'.

In a recent poll, nearly 20 per cent of Word Magazine's voters elected the pride (or shame) of the prairies as the worst band in the world. Only LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY, a long-forgotten British shit-pop duo, came close, garnering 14 per cent of the vote.
