New Accept singer Mark Tornillo isn’t going to be an Udo Dirkschneider clone.
08 December 2009Talking to radio show Maximum Threshold, the man says: “I am not going to try to fill Udo Dirkschneider’s shoes. I am different. What I will do is be true to myself. However, when we play the old stuff, I will try to also be true to the originals. The fans deserve that. They want to hear ACCEPTso I will do the best to make it sound like ACCEPT, be it on this new album or on stage.”
The reformed band – also featuring guitarists Wolf Hoffmann and Herman Frank, bassist Peter Baltes and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann – are currently recording an album with producer Andy Sneap.
