One of our listeners, Julian Popov has brought to our attention a new Facebook campaign.

"Today I logged into my Facebook account and what do you think I saw? A new Facebook group called 'BEFORE WE CASTRATE STRAY DOGS, LET'S FIRST CASTRATE THE GYPSIES!!!' That's right - written in capital letters and with no less than three exclamation marks.

Group founder Yana, born on the ominous date of September 11th, elaborates thus: "I am not racist and would normally have nothing against gypsies, provided they didn't breed like cockroaches and actually went to work for a change, instead of living off benefits, funded by us taxpayers. There's an issue about stray dogs, but when will someone focus on the bigger parasites?"

To further stress that she isn't racist, she adds: "Any comments of the 'turn gypsies to soap', 'death to all gypsies' and so on, will be banned fortwith!!!"В 
"Three more exclamation marks there," comments Julian in his blog.

He then goes on to say: "As far as I'm concerned this is criminal thinking, akin to the most brutal fascism and online paedophilia. It amazes me that membership of this group seems to be growing at the rate of fifty people per hour - people, who put their names on there, not to mention their photos and even those of their children. How that can happen is beyond me" - says Mr. Popov in an email sent to us earlier today.

"Meanwhile membership of this very same group has grown to 13, 402, while the 'I don't wish to have my phone tapped' stalls at a mere 4, 566'" ends his blog.
