Tangra Mega Rock radio will be celebrating its fourth birthday with one hell of a show at Sofia's "Universiada Hall" on March 24th, 2010.
Having already announced headliners Er Maluk and Bulgaria's current hottest metal ticket - Odd Crew, we are now delighted to announce the addition of a third act to the already mouthwatering bill, namely Insmouth! We've decided to make this an all-Bulgarian gig (in terms of the acts participating) to once again show our undying support for the local scene.
So Tangra Mega Rock radio's fourth birthday will see a monster gig with four bands from four different generations all getting together on one amazing bill to kick yer arses! Stay tuned for details on the incredible fourth addition to this succulent blood and guts menu!

INSMOUTH – Bulgaria's most influential crossover band!

Before going on an indefinite hiatus in Autumn 2003, they enjoyed a triumphant five-year period, establishing themselves as proper legends on the undergound scene.

Rather than bemoaning their luck or whingeing about the hardships of being in a band, the boys concentrated on writing and rehearsing their original songs as best they could.

Thus, we got two quite brilliant albums - ‘3D Freak Accelerator’ (1999) and 'Cross Over The Crossover’ (2002), as well as the ‘Lara-Croft’ EP (2000), with tracks like  ‘Shakalakamuthafaka’, ‘Despair’, ‘Sexulted’, ‘Freak’ becoming firm fan favourites.

The band built a solid reputation as a formidable live act, supporting the likes of Soulfly, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax and Pyogenesis, as well as touring Germany and playing the big Sziget Festival in Budapest. Fans still talk about their famous sold out gig at Sofia's "Mr. Punch" club (over 900 tickets sold) - one of the greatest shows ever witnessed on the local scene.

In 2003 guitarist Vihar Tsonchev married a Brazilian sports reporter and went to live in Brazil, while vocalist Stiff formed a new band - Redrum. This spelled the end of the road for Insmouth....until now! We can't wait to see them onstage in their ORIGINAL LINE-UP, at Sofia's "Universiada Hall" on March 24th, 2010, along with Odd Crew and headliners Er Maluk - what a cracking bill to celebrate Tangra Mega Rock radio's fourth messy birthday!
