This band was born in 2007. There was a short period of changes until the they gathered in the present format. The addition of percussions, melodica and kaval – the traditional Bulgarian woodwind instrument, gave MERUDIA its true personality.

And this is what they think they do:

"Merudia combines some reggae vibes with various musical styles and influences resulting in a distinctive sound that seems to be appreciated among the Bulgarian alternative audience. We've been performing live frequently for the last two years and have participated in some of the biggest local reggae events, including a support act for the Macka B’s gig in Sofia in 2008."
