Two weeks after they were Tangra Mega Rock radio's 'Band of the Week', the rather brilliant Stranglers have announced that they'll be playing the main stage at the Spirit of Burgas festival this Summer. If you don't believe us, go to their official website and take a look there, wally.

"The Stranglers are confirmed for the Spirit of Burgas festival near Sofia, Bulgaria on Saturday 14 August."

We immediately checked with the festival's promoters and it turns out the Stranglers will not be the main headline act on the second night of Bulgaria's biggest Summer festival, which means that they will be followed onstage by an even bigger act (although few things on this planet compare to a Stranglers gig), to be announced soon.

This means the festival will take place from 13-15 August on the central beach in Burgas. Tangra Mega Rock radio will once again be taking care of the Rock Stage, which is the second biggest stage at the fest.
