Few things are as fun as a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers concert. Which means lots of people will have lots of fun this summer.В 

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have announced a 38-date tour, set to kick off May 6 in Raleigh, NC.

And there's more: Before the trek, the Gainesville, FL, rocker and his longtime backing band will release Mojo, their first album in eight years, on a yet-to-be announced date this spring!

Petty recruited a handful of musically like-minded pals to open select tour dates: Crosby, Stills & Nash, Joe Cocker, ZZ Top, Drive-By Truckers, and former SPIN cover boys My Morning Jacket.

Mojo drops later this spring.
